I'm 24 and an English and Linguistics student in my first year at Nottingham Trent University where I'll be reading things far from YA fiction. It's very scary but I am loving it so far, especially since I get to read a lot of amazing books that I wouldn't have previously.
I have completely fallen in love with YA fiction, especially in the fantasy genre. Twilight started it quite a while ago now but since then, I have realised just how many amazing and different stories there are out there. A couple of my favourite authors are Alyson Noel, Claudia Gray and R.J. Anderson.
Before getting into YA fiction, I was (and still am) an avid fan of historical romances from the likes of Julia Quinn, Gaelen Foley and Stephanie Laurens. These are admittedly more for the adult side of me but I love them just as much as the fantasy books I read.
